Kenneth A. Tobin, AIALEED AP, NCARB


Ken has a wide variety of experience having worked on many types of projects including commercial and educational buildings. In addition to new construction, he is experienced in remodeling and adaptive use of existing buildings. Ken is experienced in managing the design process, in addition to organizing and coordinating multi-disciplined design teams.

Jerry R. Voigt, AIA, NCARB

Vice President

Jerry began his work in architecture with a position with Americana Health Care Centers in Monticello, Illinois. Jerry was a Project Manager in charge of design and building planning for three years with Americana’s corporate office. Jerry moved to Wyoming in 1977 and took a position with DRB in Lander. The firm worked throughout the State.

In 1982, Jerry joined Associates West Incorporated where he obtained his architectural license. He took on the responsibilities of Project Architect and became very involved in the operation of the firm, eventually purchasing the firm in 1990. The firm provided services for a wide range of clients, including State, Federal, Indian governmental, private sector, religious and commercial projects. He is well versed in Code application and has an extensive knowledge in correctional design.

In July of 2003, after over 20 years of Joint Ventures with Tobin & Associates on numerous State and Federal Projects, Jerry merged his company with Tobin & Associates, and relocated to Cheyenne, Wyoming. This merge has brought additional depth to the firm as well as a combined history of successfully completed projects. Past work together includes: a four-year comprehensive Facility Audit for the State of Wyoming, projects for both Wyoming Game & Fish and Wyoming State Parks, and an $8.5 million Central Production Facility for the Wyoming Department of Corrections at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming. Most recently he has completed projects at HollyFrontier Refining in Cheyenne, the Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, and several projects for the Lander Valley Medical Center in Lander.

William Wedemeyer, AIA, LEED AP bd+c, ALEP

Associate Principal

William has 13 years of diverse design experience where he has had the opportunity to develop creative solutions to a variety of project types.   William has been involved in all aspects of the profession  including planning, programming, design, development of construction documents, construction administration and project coordination and management.  Will believes in a client centered design approach where a client visions and goals are carefully taken and developed into creative and innovative design solutions.  

Will graduated from from MSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design. He then attended Boston Architectural College where he obtained a Masters Degree in Architecture.

Keith Forbes, Associate AIA 

Keith Forbes is a 1985 graduate of Phoenix Institute of Technology.  He has over 25 years of experience working in architecture and engineering.  He has been responsible for development of schematic design, design development and construction documents, specifications, cost estimating and construction administration on many different types and sizes of projects throughout his career.  These projects include renovations and additions to existing facilities as well as new construction.  His attention to detail helps address conflicts during design and minimize issues during construction.  He listens to the client’s needs and desires for their individual projects and works to address them in the design and construction administration of their projects.

Joshua Schmidt

Josh began his career in architecture and engineering during high school, working as a steel detailer in Whitefish Mt. He then attended Montana State University in Bozeman Mt where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design, and Masters Degree in Architecture in 2010. Prior to joining Tobin & Associated, P.C. in 2013, Josh was employed by ATK as part of a large design/manufacturing team, while pursuing a Masters in Structural Engineering. He hopes to finish his degree in structural engineering while working toward licensure.

Terrell Hastings

Terrell’s recent experience involves the construction administration of the $25.9 million Information Technology Facility at the University of Wyoming, $64 million Cheyenne South High School, and a remodel of Building #27 at the Wyoming Air National Guard Base in Cheyenne, WY. His responsibilities involve both administrative and on-site inspection activities with the goal of a successful project that is on schedule and on budget. Prior to joining Tobin & Associates, P.C., Terrell was a self-employed residential builder and carpenter for over 10 years.  In addition, he had over five years experience as Vice President of Technical Operations for The Emission Measurement Group, Inc. before the company relocated to the East Coast.

Martin Crozier, RRO

Martin’s recent experience involves the construction administration of the new Wyoming Department of Corrections Medium Security Prison, the roofing observations and inspections of the Wyoming Air National Guard’s Joint Forces Readiness Center Complex, Army Aviation Support Facility located in Cheyenne, Laramie County School District No.1 Cheyenne South High School and Laramie County School District No.2 Burns West Elementary School. His responsibilities involve both administrative and on-site inspections with the goal of providing a successful project. Martin has recently passed the Registered Roof Observer examination with RCI Inc. to become the only RRO in the State of Wyoming. Martin is experienced in the operation of AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk Revit Architecture. Prior to joining Tobin & Associates, P.C., Martin was employed as a roofing foreman for 25 years replacing and installing new roofs on residential and commercial applications.

Jennifer Nordwick

Office Manager | Revit/CAD Technician 

Jennifer has over 10 years experience in both engineering and architecture. She has worked on commercial, residential, industrial, educational and health care projects that include renovations and new construction. Jennifer’s ability to troubleshoot and problems solve the many different software applications helps keep the production team effective. In addition to managing the production staff, Jennifer also maintains the overall office with attention to filing, invoicing, and other bookkeeping responsibilities. Prior to working for Tobin and Associates, Jennifer worked at both Laramie County Community College and Gillette College teaching and tutoring engineering graphics and AutoCAD.
